Cytoplasm is an aqueous, jelly-like solution that hold all the organelles in a cell in place. Cytoplasm is surrounded by a plasma membrane. Cytiplasm that is not occupied by an organelle is called Cytosol. This jelly-like substance consists of Cytoskeleton particles, organic molecules, water, and salt. The Cytoplasm works with all organelles because it holds them in place.

Cilia are short hair-like extensions off of the Cell Membrane. They are used to move past water and collect foreign objects. The Cilia works with the Flagella during movement.

Along with Cilia there are Flagella which are also short hair like structures coming off the Cell Membrane. The Flagella are important to movement. Flagella work with Cilia in movement.
